Route:

Via Todwick, South Anston, Dinnington & Laughton.

Distance:

9.9 miles. This route includes footpaths across fields for several sections (you will need good boots).

This is a very scenic route, using some sections of the Five Churches historic walk & ending at the ruined abbey

You can walk one stage or more, as suits you. Each stage will have a proper pilgrim passport & be led by someone who has scouted the route.

Participants enter at their own risk, but a proper risk assessment is in place & stages will be cancelled if there is severe weather. This is why you need to register, so that we can advise you of any changes.

Most churches on the routes have toilets. You will need to bring a packed lunch and be equipped for a winter walk - warm clothes, boots or walking shoes, etc.
